PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact conveyance device provided with a configuration capable of reducing a waste space in the direction of conveyance while ensuring detection of a proper position within a predetermined scope and to provide a printing machine provided with this device. SOLUTION: This conveyance device is provided with a conveyance body constituting a conveyance face for conveying an object to be conveyed in a movable manner, a feeding-out mechanism for feeding out the object to be conveyed onto the conveyance face, a first detector 148 for detecting travel amount of the conveyance face, a second detector 125 for detecting feeding-out amount of the object to be conveyed by the feeding-out mechanism, and a signal switching means 240 for outputting a detection signal S1 of the first detector when the object to be conveyed is moved by the conveyance body and outputting a detection signal S2 of the second detector when the object to be conveyed is moved by feeding out the object to be conveyed by the feeding-out mechanism.
