PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet body positioning conveyance mechanism capable of positioning and conveying a sheet body by a very simple mechanism. SOLUTION: A driving motor 150 is driven to mesh gears 166, 168 of a gear swing mechanism A with gears 104, 106, respectively. Consequently, a film F is nipped and held by a cleaning roller 100, a first driven roller 96, and a second driven roller 98, is conveyed along a third guide plate 84, is detected by a sensor 200, and then reaches an auxiliary scanning conveyance roller 122. Here, the driving motor 150 rotates in the opposite direction by a detection signal of the sensor 200 to release meshing with the gear 104 by the gear 166 and release meshing with the gear 106 by the gear 168 to shut off transmission of rotation force of the driving motor 150.
