PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that deodorization efficiency is low and odor is not reduced well, since the sucking amount by a vacuum cleaner is large and the contact period of a deodorization filter and exhausted air is short, in the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: At a ventilation upstream part from a dust collection box (dust collection part) 3, a deodorizer housing part 26 having an opening part communicating with the box 3 and a deodorizer cutting blade (deodorizer cutting means) 35 driven by a sucked air stream flowing into the box 3 is provided. The solid deodorizer 31 is housed in the housing part 26. The deodorizer 31 is abraded or broken with the blade 35 to be granulated, and supplied into the box 3 from the housing part 26 through the sucked air stream. Since the deodorizer 31 is granulated forcedly and supplied into the box 3 from the housing part 26 by this, the odor of dust is reliably removed and odor of exhausted gas is greatly reduced.
