A substantially circular tube-like elasticity restriction section (15g) having the vertical axis is projectingly provided at one side of a rear end section of a synthetic resin chassis (15) that forms a case body for receiving a body section that performs reading or recording of an optical disk. The elasticity restriction section (15g) is split into three so as to have three elastic members that are elastically deformable into a diameter-reduced state, and is projected at a position substantially diagonally opposite to a position at which a movement gear (63) of an open/close drive means (60) is engaged, the open/close drive means (60) advancing and reversing a disk tray (50) carrying the optical disk. In the disk tray (50) is provided an engagement recess (51e) with which the elasticity restriction section (15g) engages at a home position. Even if vibration acts on the disk tray (50) while the optical disk is processed, the vibration is absorbed by the elasticity restriction section (15g) that engages with the engagement recess (51e) and applies restoring force in a different direction, and thereby noise is suppressed.
