<p>One arm (11) of the wiper units (10) used to clean the passenger side of the windscreen (1) is telescopically joined to a sleeve (13) rotated around a stationary axle (14) located slightly off center (4) in relation to the windscreen (1). A second stationary axle (18) is positioned at a distance from the first (14), even closer to the front strut (28). Both units are linked (25) and operated by an electric drive (27). The wiper (22) on the passenger side is moved across a larger area (29, 30) than the element on the drivers side (22). The unit can also be designed as a single-arm device with its rotation axis close to the position of the steering wheel (6).</p> |
