The snowboard boot fixing comprises a jaw (61) which pivots about a horizontal spindle (62) and has a cam shaped part (65). The jaw is locked in its lowered position by a finger (67) which moves in a guide (69). The fixing is fitted with an indicator (76) which indicates if the jaw is in the locked position.
