<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ride comfort and brake operability in a vehicle by keeping motor controllability constant against variations in harness resistance in an electric brake device. <P>SOLUTION: This electric brake device, provided with a braking system for producing a braking force with a motor and a motor drive which is powered by on-vehicle power supply and controls a voltage applied to the motor, includes a current detector for detecting a current of the motor and changes a voltage of an on-vehicle power supply based on the detected current of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
