<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration device, capable of improving printing precision, and shortening an interval between paper sheets so as to improve productivity of an image forming device or an image reading device, and an image forming device provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: High voltage is applied to a pre-resist roller, and a sheet is sent through the part, so that a charge is formed on the surface of the sheet. High voltage of the same polarity as the charge formed on the sheet is applied to a resist roller. By thus generating the charge of the same polarity on the surface of the resist roller as the charge formed on the surface of the sheet, repulsive force is generated at the sheet, so that the sheet is guided to a resist nip part precisely.
