<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process an image efficiently even in a terminal processor that does not have any image processors by hardware when connecting a photographic processing apparatus to the terminal processor by a network. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises the photographic processing apparatus 1, and the terminal processor 2. The photographic processing apparatus 1 comprises a first image processor 10 by software for generating image processing data; a second image processor 20 by hardware for generating image data for exposure, based on the image processing data; and an exposing engine 32 exposing a photographic sensitive material to print an image, based on the generated image data for exposure. The terminal processor 2 is connected to the photographic processing apparatus 1 by the network 3, and comprises a third image processor 40 by software for generating the image processing data and an image data transmitter for transmitting the image processing data to the second image processor 20. The terminal 2 comprises an image processing requesting means 53 for requesting specific image processing to the second image processor 20 when performing image processing by the third image processor 40; and a processing result receiving means 54 for receiving results processed by the second image processor 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
