PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for making it possible to predict congestion in each part of a closed space.
SOLUTION: A direction recognition sensor is installed at each intersection that connects a plurality of passages provided inside an exhibition site. Each of the direction recognition sensors sends direction recognition data to a host computer 1. By analyzing the direction recognition data integrated, the host computer 1 calculates the probability of movement direction, i.e., the probability with which, when an IC tag enters each intersection from each of the passages, the IC tag goes out into another passage, and the probability of staying, i.e., the probability with which, after passing through either intersection, the IC tag does not reach any adjoining intersection within unit time, and then calculates the probability of existence on each passage, i.e., the probability with which all IC tags existing in the exhibition site can exist on each passage after the elapse of the unit time. For each passage, the host computer 1 calculates the number of IC tags that can exist after the elapse of the unit time as the total sum of the probabilities of existence.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
