摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a bottom thickness of a fine and deep groove formed on one face of a resin component. SOLUTION: A face opposite to the face of the resin component 12 having the fine and deep groove 14 is contacted to a measurement reference face 16a, and a probe 20 smaller than the fine and deep groove 14 is inserted to the fine and deep groove 14. By comparing a position where the tip of the probe 20 is abutted against a bottom face of the fine and deep groove 14 and a position where the probe 20 is abutted against the measurement reference face 16a without placing the resin component 12 on the measurement reference face 16a, the bottom thickness t of the fine and deep groove 14 is measured. A foamed body 12b of the resin component 12 restores its original shape, and the fine and deep groove 14 may be filled. However, the probe 20 is retained by a driving means 22 through a spring 28 having an elastic force larger than a force required to deform the foamed body 12b and smaller than a force required to deform a skin 12a so that the probe 20 reaches the bottom face of the fine and deep groove 14.
