PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system in which a switching time required for switching a mobile communication system is short. SOLUTION: The service area of a base station 1 is included in the service area of a communication satellite 3. The base station 1 transmits line information of a satellite communication system in its own service area and in the neighborhood thereof, and line information of its own communication system received from the communication satellite 3, to a mobile communication terminal 5 in its service area.
