PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal device having an image data transmitting/receiving function through a group communication network and an image data transmitting/receiving method using this. SOLUTION: This mobile communication terminal device has an image data transmitting/receiving function through a group communication network, and comprises a PTT key for requesting a transmission privilege when participating in group communication; a vocoder for encoding the voice of a user to be provided from a microphone; a memory for storing various image data; a control part for generating a packet by combining voice data to be provided from the vocoder with image data read from the memory, and for controlling an output by separating an image from the received package; and a transmitting/receiving part for transferring the package data to be provided from the control part to the group communication management center, and for receiving the package data from the group communication management center.
