PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge apparatus and a method for manufacturing a panel which enable the panel free from harmful color irregularity or stripe-like irregularity to be manufactured, and an image display device and electronic equipment provided with the panel free from the harmful color irregularity and stripe-like irregularity. SOLUTION: The droplet discharge apparatus has a head unit 103 in which a plurality of droplet discharge heads each having a nozzle line formed by linearly arranging a plurality of nozzles for discharging a liquid material for forming a pixel as the droplets are mounted. The head unit 103 has a plurality of head lines in each of which, when viewed from a direction crossing the nozzle line at right angles, the plurality of the droplet discharge heads for discharging the droplets of the liquid material having the same color are arranged so that the nozzle lines are connected and function as a long nozzle line. The plurality of the long nozzle lines formed by the plurality of the head lines for the liquid material having the same color are arranged to overlap each other and not to coincide the positions of the joints of the nozzle lines with each other among the head lines when viewed from a direction crossing the nozzle line at right angles.
