PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy fitting irrespective of whether the knob is of a bidirectional automatic recovery type or a unidirectional automatic recovery type. SOLUTION: In a fitting structure of a knob in which a fixed knob 5 is assembled to a lever body 3 to align a click spring 65 and a click body 67 at a set position with respect to a click projection 21, a base 17 is provided with a supporting hole 63 for supporting the click spring 65 and the click body 67 to be movable to a pre-fitting retracting position, and the fixed knob 5 is provided with a guide projection 29 having such a shape as to gradually approach the click projection 21 of a slide knob 7 from one side to the set position side. By fitting, one-end side of the click spring 65 comes in contact with the guide projection 29, and the click spring 65 and the click body 67 move from the retracting position to be aligned at the set position with respect to the click projection 21.
