PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type recording medium transportation apparatus in which transportation of a disk type recording medium can be performed surely, while contact for the surface and the back of the disk recording medium can be prevented, and which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: A transportation means 41 is provided with a transportation part 41B transporting a holding part 41A holding a disk 11 and the disk 11. When the disk 11 is transported, as the disk 11 is held by the holding part 41A, a transporting part 41B never be removed between disk 11, transportation distance of the disk 11 can be made long.
