PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic transfer apparatus for performing magnetic transfer among various materials to be transferred different in size or coercive force, in which a proper magnetic field can be applied to the material to be transferred. SOLUTION: Distances between a holder part 10 and magnetic field application parts 20 and 22 are adjusted in a z direction according to the size of a non-transfer area disposed in the center of the material to be transferred 2 housed in the holder part 10, the magnetic field application parts 20 and 22 are moved in an X direction according to the size of the non-transfer area to adjust the positions of the magnetic field application parts 20 and 22 with respect to the holder part 10, and spaces between the N poles 20a and 22a and the S poles 20b and 22b of the magnetic field application parts 20 and 22 are adjusted according to thus adjusted distances between the holder part 10 and the magnetic field application parts 20 and 22.
