PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent falling even of a heavy apparatus, when the apparatus oscillates due to earthquake or the like, and moreover to easily install the apparatus. SOLUTION: A fall preventing device for the apparatus to be installed on a base plate is provided with an attitude control member 51, interposed between the base plate and an opposing face of a part of the apparatus. The attitude control member 51 comprises a hollow mass with air filled in the inside, and discharges inner air to the outside, when the apparatus is oscillated and the pressure between the base plate and the apparatus exceeds a certain value.
