PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch, and a sprag used in the one-way clutch with extensively improved meshing in low temperature. SOLUTION: The one-way clutch comprising an inner ring and an outer ring separated in a radial direction and concentrically arranged so as to relatively rotate, and the sprag arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring to transmit torque is characterized by that a plurality of grooves extended in an axial direction is provided on a cam face of the sprag contacting an outer circumferential face of the inner ring.
