PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the freedom of design and enable installation with consideration of door design. SOLUTION: An electric lock system 20 comprises a portable unit 6 for identifying certification information such as a remote controller key, an external certification information acquiring part 3, an internal certification information acquiring part 4 and an electric lock 1. The external certification information acquiring part 3 is located at a prescribed position other than a lock itself outside of a door 14 and acquires the certification information sent from the portable unit 6 for identifying certification information when the operation part 3b is operated within a specified range outside the door 14. The internal certification information acquiring part 4 is located at a prescribed position other than the lock itself inside of the door 14 and has the same operation part 4b as the external certification information acquiring part 3. The electric lock 1 has checkup information stored in advance and required for checking the certification information sent from the external certification information acquiring part 3, and a control means is installed in a lock main body 17, which means locks/unlocks its own lock mechanism when the certification information received is judged to be specific certification information as the result of comparing the certification information received with the checkup information.
