摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a titanium oxide fine particle by which the titanium oxide fine particle used for a photocatalyst or the like is efficiently and economically manufactured without using expensive raw materials. SOLUTION: A titanium oxide finr particle is manufactured by heating a solution prepared by dissolving a multiple oxide consisting essentially of barium titanate in an acid solution to≥80°C. As the multiple oxide consisting essentially of barium titanate, one obtained from at least one kind of a green sheet used in a manufacture process of electronic components, a green sheet waste material and a green sheet precursor is used, or a multiple oxide containing silica is used. A solution prepared by dissolving the multiple oxide in the acid solution is heated to≥80°C to produce titanium oxide fine particle and the titanium oxide fine particle is heat-treated at 800-1,000°C.
