<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an exhaust gas purification material constituted so as to burn particulates in a diesel exhaust gas to purify the exhaust gas, capable of burning particulates at a nearly exhaust gas temperature without separately providing a heating means, constituted so as not to cause a crack or melt loss by the high temperature generated by the combustion of the accumulated particulates and excellent in heat shock resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purification material having high heat shock resistance and high particulate burning activity is obtained by forming an oxide film on the surface of a metal filter to improve wetting properties, adding a wetting agent and a defoaming agent to a slurry of an exhaust gas purification catalyst with the high activity to the particulates and an inorganic oxide to improve wetting properties, uniformly removing the excess slurry by centrifugal separation, instantaneously freezing the remaining slurry to prevent the movement of the slurry, and drying the remaining slurry by vacuum operation without moving the slurry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
