<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a card other than a PC card into a PC card slot by using a passive adapter without performing complicated circuit change in a card controller corresponding to PC cards and cards other than PC cards. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal for a PC card side and a terminal for cards other than PC cards are wired outside a PC card controller, a PC card slot 17 to be connected to the wiring is provided, and further, respective card interfaces 12 and 13 in a PCIC 10 (PCI-Card Bus Bridge) change a control method for the respective I/O cells 14 and 15 to thereby realize a card controller corresponding to a passive adapter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
