<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain identical print results regardless of difference in printer. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer 102, a document including a print designation and print out data is received at a receiving section 301 from a client PC, the received document is analyzed at a structured document analysis section 302 and data described by page description language is taken out, and rendering is performed at a rendering section 303 based on the data described by page description language thus generating print image data.
