<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stably forming an image by setting an optimum potential difference, in forming the image with positive-electrification polymerized toner by introducing a cleaner-less system. <P>SOLUTION: In forming the image with the polymerized toner, the surface potential of an unexposed part on a photoreceptor drum 23, that is, the part not exposed by an LED print head 25 is set ≤750V, higher than a developing voltage applied to a developing roller 28, and also, the electrification voltage to be applied to the electrifier 22 and the developing voltage to be applied to the developing roller are controlled so that a potential difference of 100V to 400V may be formed between the surface potential of the unexposed part and the potential of the developing roller 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
