<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology appropriately estimating accumulation amount of ash component in DPF. <P>SOLUTION: Pressure difference of DPF right after completion of forced regeneration ranges from a case that PM component is completely burnt and removed and DPF pressure difference decreases to pressure difference due to the ash component to a case that some PM component is not removed and remains and pressure difference due to this untreated PM component is added. 10 pressure difference from DPF pressure difference right after completion of forced regeneration A to DPF pressure difference right after completion of forced regeneration B is stored in memory or the like, the minimum pressure difference of these (eighth pressure difference in Figure) is determined as DPF pressure due to ash component in case that PM component is completely burned and removed to estimate accumulation quantity of ash component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
