<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral intravenous nutrient transfusion preparation capable of administering an enough nutrient source through a peripheral vein, by mixing a saccharide, amino acids, and an electrolyte into the preparation, without containing a fat emulsion, and capable of substantially preventing the occurrence of a vascular pain, even in a patient who is said to be relatively easily attacked by the vascular pain caused by administration of a transfusion. <P>SOLUTION: This peripheral intravenous nutrient transfusion preparation comprises the saccharide, the amino acids, and the electrolyte and does not contain the fat emulsion, wherein at least any one of a calcium compound and a phosphorus compound is not contained in the preparation, the peripheral intravenous nutrient transfusion preparation has a pH of 6.8-7.6 and a titratable acidity of≤5, and the preparation contains the saccharide in an amount of 5-10 w/v% and the amino acids in an amount of 2-5 w/v% in total. Further, the peripheral intravenous nutrient transfusion preparation comprises a solution (A) containing the saccharide and the electrolyte and a solution (B) containing the amino acids and does not contain the fat emulsion, wherein the preparation has the pH of 6.8-7.6 and the titratable acidity of≤5, when the solutions (A) and (B) are mixed, and the preparation contains the saccharide in the amount of 5-10 w/v% and the amino acids in the amount of 2-5 w/v% in total. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
