<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber housing component that enables each coated optical fiber to be worked singly and that also enables a coated optical fiber connecting sleeve to be fixed at an arbitrary position in a recess on the outer periphery of a disk body. <P>SOLUTION: This is a component for housing coated optical fibers and is characterized in that it is composed of a disk body 21 having a recessed part 22 on the outer periphery so that the coated optical fiber can be wound on and the coated optical fiber connecting sleeve can be fixed, and a housing container 31 for storing the disk body 21, and additionally in that it is provided with a nearly S-shaped groove 23 prepared on the side of the disk body 21 and communicated with the recessed part 22 at both ends. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
