<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home server function as a hard disk device to AV equipment on which a hard disk is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: This hard disk device is configured of a hard disk, a network interface part, a CPU, a memory, a power source, a cipher accelerator, and a tamper-resistant region, and provides: a plug-and-play function; the distribution of contents information stored in the hard disk device; the encryption of contents using the cipher accelerator; authentication information stored in the tamper-resistant region; authentication following an algorithm; and a cooperation service with a center server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
