<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system, a program, and a data collection method for collecting data in regard to the viewing and listening of information provided by a particular information providing server, enabling effective data collection. <P>SOLUTION: Based on data collection object information acquired from a management server, a terminal decides whether a connection target for each connection to the information providing server coincides with the connection target of the particular information providing server specified in data collection target information. On deciding coincidence, the terminal is connected to a transfer server correspondent to the coincident information providing server.
