<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator ink composition with which an indicator enabling the accurate confirmation of the finish of the sterilization by a high pressure steam sterilization method can be printed by an offset printing method. <P>SOLUTION: This offset printing ink composition for high pressure steam sterilization indicators is characterized by comprising 10 to 50 wt.% of a color changing component comprising a metal-containing compound and at least one of sulfur and sulfur-containing compounds which change color with the metal-containing compound under high pressure steam, 50 to 90 wt.% of a binder, and maximally 20 wt.% of at least one auxiliary selected from extender pigments, compounds, drying oils and organic solvents, and having viscosity adjusted to 50 to 1,000 P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
