PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver in which generation frequency of clipping due to an analog/digital converter can be suppressed. SOLUTION: A clipping detecting section 215 detects generating state of clipping based on the output signals from analog/digital converters 201 and 202. When generation frequency becomes high, a control section 203 controls a GCA (Gain Control Amplifier) 104 to reduce the amplitude of input signals to the analog/digital converters 201 and 202.
