PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix fluorescent display element which has a plurality of pixels, a plurality of scan lines, and a plurality of signal lines and has high luminance and emits light uniformly and has a high density. SOLUTION: The display element includes: a logic circuit part comprising column address selection circuits of respective pixels and input data and logic control circuits; a holding part for driving anode electrodes provided for each pixel; an AND circuit part for integrating a signal held in the holding part and inverted signals of blanking from input data signal lines; pre-drivers circuit for driving output transistors in preceding stages; and a pixel driving part comprising driver output circuits connected to the pre-driver circuits. The pre-driver circuits are constituted of P-channel enhancement-mode field effect transistors and P-channel depletion-mode field effect transistors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
