PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice machine capable of noticeably suppressing a trouble that ice in an ice storage is used up and making perfect ice as much as possible even in a busy time zone. SOLUTION: This ice machine IM adapted to perform a predetermined ice making operation in an ice making unit IU and store the ice made by the ice making operation in the ice storage 32 comprises a control device 20 controlling the operation of the ice making unit IU. The control device 30 executes a general ice making mode for performing the ice making operation only for a predetermined ice making time necessary for obtaining perfect ice and a rapid ice making mode for ending the ice making operation in a time shorter than in the general ice making mode.
