PAPER CUTTER, PAPER POST-PROCESSING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutter, having high reliability to surely remove chips generated in cutting a sheaf of paper. SOLUTION: This paper cutter includes: a cutting blade for pushing and cutting the sheaf of paper from below; a blade receiving member for receiving the cutting blade; a holding member holding the cutting blade; a cutting blade driving means for moving up and down the holding member; and a paper receiving member located in a position opposite to the blade receiving member to hold the sheaf of paper together with the blade receiving member in cutting. The paper cutter includes a chips guide member for raising the cutting blade by the cutting blade driving means to guide the chips generated in pushing and cutting the sheaf of paper held between the blade receiving member and the paper receiving member downward.
