<p>Perfluoroperoxyhprochlorites of formula:- Rf OOCl (I) (where Rf is a perfluorinated group with =12C) Rf is pref. a perfluorinated C1-6 alkyl, aryl or alkaryl group and compd. I is pref. CF3OOCl. The compds I are prepd. by reacting a perfluorohydroperoxide with C1F at 130 degrees to 78 degrees C and are used as intermediates for the prepn of new fluorinated compds. such as peroxide e.g. Rf OOSi (CH3)3.</p> |
