The present invention relates to a solvent-free vulcanizable polyorganosiloxane rubber of very high solids, which cures to form a high-gloss surface coating with minimal shrinkage. The polyorganosiloxane rubber coating composition contains a functionalized polydiorganosiloxane polymerizable under suitable conditions to form a coating and one or more additives selected from catalysts or initiators for curing the polymerizable polydiorganosiloxane, adhesion promoters, reinforcing fillers, and inorganic extending or non-reinforcing fillers. The composition is free of solvents or diluents and the viscosity of the polydiorganosiloxane is chosen to allow the composition to be applied by standard techniques to cure with minimal shrinkage and high gloss.
