<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an imaging apparatus in which operational sound can be prevented from leaking through the gap around a sheet tray 2 over a long term without deteriorating operability of the fixing/removing operation of the sheet tray 2. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a housing 4 having an opening 4a, and a plurality of sheet trays 2 arranged movably with respect to the housing 4 wherein sheets are supplied by drawing out the sheet tray 2 from the opening 4a. The imaging apparatus is further provided with a cover means 5 arranged to be fitted in the opening 4a such that the opening is closed for at least two sheet trays 2 and to be integrated with the sheet tray 2 at the time of drawing out an arbitrary one of the at least two sheet trays 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
