The proposed method for conveying sheets to a accumulating apparatus includes the following working steps: longitudinal cutting of a webstream (1), moved in a first feeding direction (A), to obtain at least two longitudinal sections; partial overlapping of the above longitudinal sections; transversal cutting of the longitudinal sections, to obtain a pair (20) of sheets (21, 22), partially overlapped; placing of the pairs (20) of sheets (21, 22) on a conveyor (3), moved in a second feeding direction (B), orthogonal to the first feeding direction (A), to define a plurality of pairs (20) of sheets (21, 22), each of which has at least one accessible portion (22A) of prefixed and constant extension (G).
