1,273,837. Benzene diazonium compounds. KALLE A.G. 10 Dec., 1969 [12 Dec., 1968], No. 60318/69. Heading C2C. [Also in Division G2] The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R 1 represents an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl group which may be substituted, R 2 represents an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl group, R 3 represents an acyl group derived from a carboxylic acid or from a carbonic acid semiester, R 4 represents a halogen atom and X is the anion of the diazonium compound. They may be obtained by replacing the amino group of a thioether of 5-mercapto-4-(halogen)-2-nitro-aniline by a C1 atom by a Sandmeyer reaction, reacting with a primary amine to form a secondary amino group which is then acylated, reducing the NO 2 group and diazotizing the amino group. Examples are given for the preparation of the compounds, the acylated nitro compounds being isolated as intermediates.
|
