<p>Multiple single measurement stages are carried out to measure an absolute distance value corresponding to a route (9) between a measuring device (10) and a target/destination. Also, each change in distance is measured almost simultaneously with these stages and taken into account as an absolute distance is determined. Scanning stages are applied according to a Fizeau method. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring an absolute distance value with a means for determining an absolute distance according to a route between a measuring device and a target/destination and a means for determining a relative distance along this route.</p> |
