<p>Device for opening screw closures has a hand-grip in the form of a lever, a strap specif. of ribbed nylon for gripping the closure, one end of the strap being fastened to a brace swingably connected to the front end of the lever, and a second brace swingably connected to the rear end of the lever, the strap being passed round the pin of the brace in such a manner that when the strap is drawn round a closure, it is pressed against the lever at the place of the second brace. The length of the strap can be easily adjusted to fit a variety of closures.</p> |
