Device for the formation of shrinkage joints in concrete work comprised by a plurality of trays of a concrete separator material mounted in rigid lineal elements in alternate manner on one side and the other of the surface fissure line in the upper face of the concreted surface and leaving spaces free between them to allow the fissuring. The device favours embedding of the adjoining slabs formed by the shrinkage joint with the resulting improvement in resistance behaviour. The same is of application to concrete work "in situ", such as roadways, canals, esplanades, collectors, tunnels, railways, dykes and others.
