The invention comprises the acid addition salts of 2-aryl or 2-heteroaryl benzimidazoles with H 3 PO 2 . Pharmaceutical and veterinary compositions comprise the above salts as anthelmintic agents, and may take the form of tablets, capsules, boluses, drenches or animal feeds. The salts are preferably used as aqueous solutions. Oral, parenteral, intramuscular and subcutaneous administration are mentioned. |
