<p>Vehicle detection device has a magnetic field sensor (10, 11) next to the road with permanent magnets (12, 14) fitted in the road so that any change in their field caused by passing vehicles is greater than any possible change in the earth's magnetic field. The invention also relates to use of the inventive detection device with defined size metered parking spaces.</p> |
