A radio transmission is effected between transmitter and receiver by means of frequency hopping, where bit messages have encoded time information using the time data from a time transmitter, for the purpose of synchronizing the radio transmission. A bit message (TODout) containing the time data, e.g. from a GPS transmitter, is transformed into a further bit message (TODtransf), which is then brought into a predetermined timing. The time data contained in the further bit message (TODtransf) are counted forward by a predefined time unit corresponding to the transmission rate of the time data of the time transmitter, and a series of the transformed, exactly timed bit messages is output at the transmission rate of the time data of the time transmitter. |
