Liquid heat-transfer agent comprises a mixture of 5-05 wt.% diphenyl (opt. an alkyldiphenyl) and 95-5 wt.% of a mineral oil. Flame-resistance is improved by opt. presence of a halogenated diphenyl, and 0.1-5.0 wt.% Zn dialkylthiophosphate is added as anti-oxidant. The compsns. are liquid below 0 degree C and of low viscosity at high tems. and are heat and oxidn. resistant.
