Centre scraper or scoops lift the material from the centre and allow processing by wall scoops fitted with scraper bars to work against the wall. The scoops are shaped to allow complete emptying. Endface scrapers or scoops in the vessel are also fitted with wiper bars. Wall and centre layer scoops are arranged parallel to each other. Good mixing, loose handling due to half filled vessel, low space requirement, total removal of contents are possible. |
