The method for assessing the adhesion of bacteria to dentistry materials used for denture manufacture comprises in incubation of the disks prepared from the materials under study in the suspension of test-cultures of bacteria followed by placing the disks to the saline solution and analyzing the imprints of the materials on the surface of the solid nutrient media for bacterial culture. Upon incubation, the number of the isolated bacterial colonies is counted. For transferring the adhered bacteria to the sterile saline solution, the tubes with the disks are shaken for 5, 10, and 15 minutes. The number of the bacteria transferred to the saline solution is measured upon seeding the samples in the nutrient media. Finally, the complex assessment of the adhesive properties of the materials under study is performed. Based on the results of the assays, the dentistry materials used for denture manufacture are categorized as follows: the materials with low adhesion of bacteria, the materials with moderate adhesion of bacteria, and the materials with high adhesion of bacteria.
