GROUND REFERENCE POINT

The proposed ground reference point can be used in creating geodetic centers, specifically reference posts for a geodetic network. The ground reference point contains a core and a protecting casing. The reference point is distinctive by that the protecting casing is made of antifriction material and is rigidly fixed to the core on all the area of contact with the upper ground layer. This design results in that the tangential forces that are produced in the activization of the ground layer do not push the core off the ground. The advantage of the proposed ground reference point is its enhanced stability.
